My favorite Korean Smartphone Application

When I was traveling Singapore last summer,
the map made by Singapore people is useful than google map.

I guess that when you travel Korea
Korean Application (Smartphone) is more useful.

Now, I'll write a post about my favorite applications.

These figures are captured in Google play. ( The same app is also capable in IOS )
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the other languages versions or translation.

The Second figure appear when you access this application at the first time.
In this figure, the red icon is indicated " search "/ Blue one is "Finding ways"/
Purple one is the information about bus. Gray one is the information about subways.

The icon that I mostly use is blue one. If you click blue icon, then there are two searching bar on the map (upper side of your smartphone display)

1) In first bar, Write the place where you start
2) In the below, Write the place where you want to go.
3) And then, under the bar, new icons are appeared.
( Taking by Public transportation/Car/ Bike / on the foot )
4) Select one of them and this application show you some alternatives.

Unless you stayed in Korea long time, I guess it is not necessary at all.
It is the most popular messenger in Korean.
We don't use "Snap chat" or "Google talk" or .. etc.

It provide free chats, free calls. People can talk in a group and they can share their photo and files and make an appointment by using the function "votes" and "calender".
Moreover, It can be accessed in PC.
How useful it is.

If you are frequently visiting Korea, so, you rent a car.
You may be need GPS. Then, I'll recommend this application.
But, I think this app is exclusive of (?) the SK telecom user.

In Some Korean shops, products could be discounted by using card and coupon.
But, we often lose the card and leave it at home.
This application solve that problem. Recently, It changed name as "syrup".
The reason why it changed ... is (I don't know. Sorry)

If you are an officer, this application will be helpful
In Korea, HanCom Office is used thought Korean officers and students.
If you can't check the file by Han com office, You can view the file by HanCom viewer

Avoid these days when planing to travel Korea

Hi viewers
I am the person who commute through the Seoul station by a subway.
And I also ride the subway(METRO) which is going to the international air port.
 

If you prepare to travel Korea in VACATION season,
I'd like to say "avoid the first week August.".

This is because that the place where you go as a tour attraction will be so crowded or be closed.

Almost Korean doesn't have much time to enjoy their vacation.
About 2-3 days will be given to us .
Besides, the company provides emplyees with official vacations
when the major companied get the break time.

It means that In a few days, many Korean go travel
Thus, the transportation are also crowded .

I went to water park with my friend yester day
It was so nice and we have a joyful day.

However
From 1st August to 9th August,
people go on a vacation

TODAY morning I commute as usual
the Seoul station is so crowded.

Foreigners looks flustered .

Then enjoy your travel.

And not only Seol but the other area also have good tour attractions.

My Grand father.

2 years ago ( I guess..;;)
I had a conversation about death....
with a monk and believers in Buddhism. ( I used to go a temple on weekends)
At that time, I just thought the things that I could give descents.
the others thinks so too.

However, the monk said " Why didn't you guys think about the fear in front of death. "


Oh , Yes,
CERTAINLY It is true.

That time, I was stupid. I couldn't think the moment  close to death.
( Because I was young and I did't watch my lover or relatives pass away closely. )

Nowadays, I can understand what a monk want to say.
It is not only the one to be afraid of death.
The left people are also afraid of death due to feeling lonely and 허무함. 빈자리. the vacancy


Yesterday,
I went to my grandfather house. He was sick.
He's been so nice to me .
When I was 5-6 year old, my father got a car accident.
Then, I had raised in my grand father house for several months.
I can't remember all days I stayed in his house.
Some memory was remained in my mind . The memory is alike torn films.
MY grand father used to walk the stream with me and watch the birds go away.


He became thin.
It made my parents' heart broken.

When we go back to our home,
I found
My mother sobbed.(몰래)

I just felt so sorry to my mom.
My mom had send her mother to heaven long time ago.
And now She has to prepare to accept the situation.
I was sorry to my mom. When I saw my mom sobbing, I just..
I wanted to say It will be okay.


Today morning,
I saw some elders when commuting to my company.
 Why should my grand father pass away...
But I know
Human died.


:)


now, I hope his sickness/pain would be reducing.
I hope he  won't feel sick too much.

Seoul Station ( express train time schedule)

When you arrive at Incheon airport and want to go Seoul city,
you could take a express bus or train or subways.

Among many ways I will introduce the way to ride subway.

The below picture showed a Seoul subway(Metro) map.

You can buy a " t- money " card ,a transportaion card.

The Airport Railroad is "공항"

The fee from Incheon Air port to Seoul staion is paid 3,950.

The express subway fee can be discounted.

 

I think these information can be easily found through various web site.

Next , I'll introduce you to the information about restraunts.

In Seoul station,

the floor where the tickets office is placed is 2 floor (I don't know why; It seems 1floor.)

      

(  Lotteria is a hamburger bar , 

You can find some family restraunts (pizza hut, Bennigans) in outside Seoul Subway Station.)

In my oppinion,

I don't want to recommend "Bennigans" .

VIPS or premium Ashley (Restraunt name) is better.

TGI is the worst restraunt of Korean family restaurants.

Actually, if I were a tourist, I'd rather go family restraunts than go some restraunts that earned a good reputaion.
